Just curious how many hours you people gotta drive before you get to ride. I ask cause i just moved from a smaller town for 20 years in the middle of now where surrounded by trees and wilderness to the city. before I could leave from my house and be in the most awesome trails ever(its actually the reason why i bought my last 2 houses where i did was to leave from home). i was gonna give up riding and sold my last bike...I come to realize at the age of 35 that I cant live without one...its just now the closest place i get to ride is 1.5 hours away....after that its like 4 hours...mind you its in the mountains or dunes...How far for you?
to go to a good park...it's a 2 hour drive for 720 acres of trails...and three tracks. Just mellow riding...nothing great...right out of my subdivision!
Mc-G
2-3 tracks and some decent trails w/ in an hours drive. I'll drive 1:15 for 1100 acres of really nice trails and the new Texas X MX park is going up 5 minutes from my house. It'll have a few tracks and a lot of trails + a lot more.
I guess I can stop complaining when I have to wake up at 8:00 on the weekends to be riding by 10:00.
we have a nice riding area about 15mins from the work house
and i have a even bigger area 30mins from my other house and mx track 15mins from house
work and live away from house i own at this time
