33, first dirt bike at 25. Have not, and will never quit riding dirt. Did both dirt and street for a year or so. Too many idiots. Now I stick to the dirt and occasional track day at the local roadrace track.
Yikes, so far I'm the geezer at 56 1/2. Hope I'm not the slowest but could be. Have a race coming up in three weeks, that'll add a few more years. Nah, it'll take em off.
46. Rode street in my teens and twenties. Wife, kids, house in my thirties. At forty four my then seven year old started bugging me for a dirt bike. So I bought three. Now I own four. I ride with my two sons. I wish I had started a lot sooner.
40....which according to studies is the new 30 and a "cougar" :-) Started riding later in life, my husband (31 yrs old) bought me my first bike in 2000 and I've been hooked ever since. I prefer trail riding, there is nothing like riding in the mountains. As far as groups of people go, dirtbikers are the best. Always there to lend a hand and an ego boost (even a clutch handle) when you get stuck in that same stupid spot every time you ride that section on the Wolverine trail! I have since prevailed but still appreciate everyone's patience and help during those trying times :-)
36 years old. Been riding since middle school, took some time off and got back at it a year ago. Ride a CR 250, mostly trails with buddies. Tried track riding and realized I was going to kill myself. Would love to learn but always rode trails and it is a whole different ball game. Going to try hare scrambles this fall to see how I do. Having a blast!
