How to adjust 1999XR70 auto-clutch

I just purchased a used 1999 XR70, if your clipping along at over
1/2 throttle its very hard to get into the next gear unless you completly back off the gas, if you want to go down from 3rd to 2nd or 1st its no problem. My sons 1996 z50 will shift alot easier, I'm thinking the autoclucth on the XR70 needs adjusting. anyone know the proper procedure. ? Thanks Borsy

borsy, hold the srew on the clutch cover and looson the lock nut .back the srew out for esier shifts and more slippage of the clutch or ttighten to make the clutch grab harder,tighten the lock nut while holding the adjuster screw and go test it.probably will take a couple of tries to get the feel your looking for-good luck!
