How to get arrested with your camera

Step 1 - Stand in front of the Illinois Bulk Power Operations switching facility with a camera and a long lens.
Step 2 - When sun starts to set, point long lens at switch gear.
Step 3 - Take pictures.
Step 3 - Wait for Police. :whoa:

I saw some shots Lou took of the nuke plant in Byron, surprised he got away with it.

I shot those from the moving truck. Yeah, it did cross my mind not to be too obvious. Then again, towing the camper I think they'd know where we came from!

Rich, I really like the bottom one.

I am always shooting photos of downtown buildings. Sometimes I am on foot, but more often out the window of my truck. It amazes me that no one has ever asked me what I am doing except for one rent-a-cop at a border crossing in Laredo. He would not let me take a photo of the dome on the customs building. :yell:

Haha. :laugh: Well its not quite like that. Most cases we find are just people like yourself taking random shots of things you think look interesting in which cases a little background check and nothing comes of it, but then there are others that pan out into something.

Pretty cool though - check it out. Always fun camping out at Byron's MX track and hearing the nuke plant humming all night long, and the redish glow of the steam. :ohmy:
