How to make a poll thread?

Is it possible for members to make polls? I'd like to start on based on a thread in the Flame board about Arai helmets:

I just want to ask folks that have purchased Arai helmets in person from a retail shop if they've ever been fitted by the store personel. That seems to be the big reason that Arai is not allowing mail order of it's helmets anymore.
