I am going riding!!!

Because of jobs, family, holidays, etc I have not been riding at all in about 6 months! I will be at Tahuya tomorow trying to remember how to ride. The withdrawals have been nearly unbearable! If any of yous are near there I will be trying not to hurt anyone!!

since i learned how to ride i've never stayed out for longer than a few weeks, but i've experienced that kind of withdrawal.

Tahuya Trails & Trees - Caution, Care Needed - top

12/15/2001 - Last week's snow and last night's wind storm has covered the Tahuya trails with hundreds of trees.

If you plan to ride Tahuya in the near future, please bring your chain saw along with you. Don't just go out there and blast around the downed trees, because it causes a resource problem that is both damaging and ugly.

When you are riding with or using your chain saw, BE CAREFUL. A chain saw is a very unforgiving tool.

Keep track of the trails you repair or tend to, and let the Belfair DNR know what you cleared. Phil Wolff can be reached at 360-275-6344 or by e-mail [email protected].

Volunteer hours are important to the DNR, so let them know how many hours you put in clearing the trails. Also consider completing an NMA Volunteer Trail Work Form.

I just happened to see it when I was browsing the NMA site.

Our trails are in bad shape too. We spent about an hour of our 4 hour snowmobile ride Tuesday clearing brush and trees (and one stranded Ski-Doo-Doo) from the trails on Mica.
