i need help on what bike to upgrade to

i currently have a yz85 and its way to small for me, i want to know what bike would be best. i have been riding my dads yz125 for a while.

1) your physical size (both height and weight are important)
5/8 140lbs
2) How physical / aggressive are you ?

3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ?????
i ride a lot of motocross, and trails
4) Do you have any riding experience?
yeah i have been riding for a while
5) Do you think you will race ?
i am going to start racing motocross
6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work?

7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)?
honda or yamaha, dont know if i want a 125 or a 250f yet

Either the 125 or 250f would be fine!

yea the 125 and the 250F are both the logical step up from an 85.

yz/cr125 (with or without a big bore), or yzf/crf250. Get the four stroke if you can afford it... however if you plan on doing your own motor work then I'd say get a two-stroke. The 2005 and newer yz and cr125's are really good bikes (as are the older yz125's however the aluminum frame on the '05 and newer ones is a nice bonus). Stay away from 2005 and older cr125's...
