Hi, i recenly purchased a 91 kx250. It seems as if this guy had the idle adjusted by using the slack adjuster on the middle of the cable. I know that this is incorrect to do, so i attempted to adjust the idle using the stop screw. The stop screw seems to not be touching the slide, even at full in. Is there a reason why it wouldnt portrude fully into the carb to make contact with the slide? Once i figure that out, i need to adjust the idle correclty. As of now, it is hard to start the bike because if you have your hand on the grip, it is natural to pull on the throttle a little bit, and it dosent like any mixture than the what it is now. How do i adjust to be perfectly identical to the way it is now? Its a big cluster****, but first i need to know if there should be a locknut on the stop screw, because there is one now, and that could be causing it to not make contact with the slide.
thanks!
