Idol issue

all the lines seam solid
when i give it throttle nothing happens only seams to idol

have you cleaned the carb, checked the float height?
No obstruction from the tank to the carb?

What make and year of bike too?????

1982 Yamaha YZ49j. all looks fine and i cleaned it before reinstalling in on the bike

i remember a similar problem with some changed similar electrical plugs but that was on a street bike with lots of wires and plugs compared to your bike.
make sure the exhaust isn´t blocked. maybe one nasty mouse has done a big nest inside your exhaust system, not kidding... normally would block the small diameter pipe that conects the chamber to the silencer. :cool:
