Some of you may know that over the last year, I've snapped two pair of Renthal Jimmy Button high bars in half. Last week I sent an e-mail to them to let them know about this problem, along with this picture. http://st500.server101.com/photogallery/Bars less pix.jpg I received an e-mail back from them today telling me they're sorry about this, and if I send them the bars, they'll send me THREE new sets.

Pretty darn good customer service if you ask me!

I have the same feeling about them/. Although all I needed was new seals for my Twinwalls, they sent them in 2 days! Not only that, but they sent 3 sets of seals and a bunch of stickers. They get a thumbs up from me too.:)

BTW, how the heck did you manage to do that? Maybe you should get twinwalls.

I really like Renthal but the bars seem to bend on small impacts. I have the same bars as ST500. First ride on my new bike I droped it while turning and the bars bent... Problem now is I don't have the money for new bars. I want to stay with Renthal because the high bend bar fits over my steering damper but if they bend so quickly I don't think I can afford them anymore.

Lee that surprises me. I've been riding/racing with some Lusk bend bars for about 8 months now with absolutely no problems. I crash all the time, 6 times in the last race alone. My bars are still straight as an arrow. Maybe you have a defective pair?

I haven't taken the bars off the bike yet to make sure they are bent, someone told me that they might have twisted in the clamps? I'm new to most of the stuff on my KX, rubber mounted bars are something I've never seen before. I think I bent them, but not really sure.

Im impressed in one way but im also thinking Renthal are really concerned about reports of twinwalls breaking-a local racer has cracked his after a year of riding without crashing-he likes to jump big-the cracks are on both sides as the thin bar enters the larger one.

I had a small problem where my local dealer thought I wanted purple anodized bars and was told they couldn't get them for 2 years. Truth was that I wanted BLUE Carmichael bars. I called Renthal myself and they had their rep call my dealer and the bars were sent pretty quickly from Renthal. I can't wait to use them this weekend.
