In eric gorrs book, it shows a clutch basket with holes drilled in the clutch basket on the sides. The purpose is to increase oil flow around the basket. I was wondering if there is a term for this process. Also, it shows all the holes going toward the center. Wouldn't it be more efficient to drill them at an angle, to force more oil into the basket. And also, to shape the holes in a cone, instead of a cylinder.I hope that that isnt misunderstood. I would draw a pic but.....
Thanks

Oh yea, where can I find more info on the blueprinting process, like a how to or something. And I do have a general understanding of what it is.

The circulating clutch basket pushes the oil into the trans and out of the side cover. Thats why an additional re-circulation hole needs to be drilled so the oil can flow back into the cover. Its only the 1992 model CR250 that needs the additional hole. 1993 and newer have the right port holes.
