Indy SX

Well finally made up my mind and my wife and I are going to head down to watch Darcy Lange take it to the lites class :cool:

Who else is heading down to check it out? Never been to Indy, started looking online for hotels, trying to keep it reasonable and found some Days Inn etc on the Northwest side of Indy, will I need a gun? Are there neighborhoods to avoid? Parking around the dome? Give me all the pertinent info you can think of related to Indy, not to atttending a SX as I've been to plenty.

On the parking thing is there any close to the dome? Handicapped works as well since we have a pass for my wife.

I'm not sure what the new day schedule looks like this year, doesn't usually matter to me since I'm one of those guys that is waiting for the doors to open :cool: IndyYZ85 has hoked me up with the primo parking setup at some mall right close by :cool:

A Supercross rider in the Top 10 in points from the present season that fails to be in the 40 fastest in the qualifying practices will be placed on the 21st gate pick in the first heat race. (The rider must have ridden in 1 Qualifying Practice.)

8:00pm - 8:10pm SX Heat # 2 - 8 Laps - 20 Riders (1 - 9 to Main) (10 - 20 to LCQ)

8:10pm - 8:25pm KTM Junior Supercross Exhibition - 3 Laps - 15 Riders

8:25pm - 8:30pm Lites Last Chance Qualifier - 4 Laps - 22 Riders (1 - 4 to Main)

A Supercross rider in the Top 10 in points from the present season that fails to qualify out of a Heat or LCQ (the rider must have started both the heat and the LCQ) will be placed on the 21st gate pick for the Main Event. This special advancement will only be given to a rider in the Top 10 twice in the 2007 Supercross season.
