Is a 2 stroke 250 too much power for me?

Here's some info on me;

1) 5'9" - 165 lbs
2) I would say medium+ and not crazy aggressive.
3) Mostly trail riding and some jumping (nothing too big).
4) Currently have 3 4 strokes in my garage.
5) Do you think you will race ? - No
6) Fortunate enough to know a good handful of friends/mechanics.
7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)? - Not sure
8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry?- Many
9) How much do you plan to spend on a bike? $1,500-$2,000 for a used bike.

I currently own a 4 stroke Yamaha 250 and a CBR 600. I try and get out the dirt bike once a week. The street bike gets rode almost daily. Just wondering if a 2 stroke 250 is too much for the type of riding I want to do or should I go for maybe a 2 stroke 125? Just wanting a little more power than what I currently have. Thanks in advance y'all.

The 250 would probably be better for your style of riding, it has better bottom end than the 125, so you don't have to ride it as agressively. Just remember "stupid hurts".
