There is a thread stickied to the top of this forum entitled 'Every KDX rider should read...'
There is a link in that thread to CDave's JustKDX site. He lists jetting recommendations (baseline) for both KDXs (well, the 200/220) for different levels of basic modification.
I Live At About 3500' The 200 Carb That I Put On The Bike Had A 160 Main Jet And That Would Not Let Me Tap Into The Power Band. I Put In A 165 Main Jet And It Started To Rip Then Puked And Shut Down I Am Going To Try A 162 Main Jet And See Where That Gets Me. Any More Advice Would Be Appreciated Greatly Thank You.
:bang: PATIENCE, YES JEDI MASTER BUT I WANT TO RIDE WITH MORE POWER THIS WEEKEND. I TRIED TO PUT A 162 MAIN JET IN TONIGHT BUT IT NOW SEEMS TO BE RUNNING RICH. I THINK THAT I WILL START INVESTING IN KEIHIN CARBS STOCKS AND BUY MORE JETS! :uh:
Hi there, I have done this modification to my 220 you need a 45 or 42 pilot jet and a 152/155 main jet, neele in the middle position air screw 1-1.75 turns out, with no airbox lid.
This works fine on my 220 with a gnarly desert pipe and powercore 2.
Hope it helps
