So ive finally got my RM running and I took it out today but it either bogs and bogs, revs or stutters. Mostly it just bogs no matter where your throttle position is. Sometimes itll rev okay but this is rare and half the time I had the throttle cracked trying to get it to go in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th and it goes da da da da da and it slows down. Its hard to explain the sound. I never gapped the sparkplug when I put it in and I think it was a pretty small gap so Im not sure if that has anything to do with it. I'm going to order some stock reeds on tuesday because the ones that are in there now are not near sealing.

Any suggestions would be helpful

Well I think so, I didnt put it in my dad and his friend whos a mechanic put the topend in. Would a backwards piston really cause all that?

Air leak somewhere? Check carb boot, cylinder and head bolts. Air leaks do funny things.
