hey, im changing the jetting on the carb, this is my first time ever doing this. im having trouble locating the air screw can someone tell me were it is?
i have my haynes manual with the jetting chart.
it says for about 0-999 above sea level
air screw 2 turns out
slow jet 58
needle clip 3rd groove
main jet 168

does this sound about right
and how do i change these settings?
thanks for all your help in advance.

Sounds like you need a better manual or to read that one more closely. The airscrew should be on the side of the carb facing the left side of the bike. It is a brass screw with a flat head slot in it. The manual should have pics of all the jet locations. Those specs should be in the ballpark, probly at 60 degrees or so. This is assuming the engine is in good mechanical shape.
