I went to sign up my daugter to DRN and found that the minimum age is 13. She's 12 and was a bit disappointed.

Has there ever been any plans to open a forum for juniors or maybe allow members under 13 if they are "sponsored" by a adult?

That 13 thing has to do with some laws put in place a couple years ago, which puts a lot of liabilty on the site owner. More of our government protecting us from ourselves, lol.

If you want her to join, just fib about the age. It's not like the law has been enforced, but frankly in a lot of cases I don't mind a limited membership of pre-teens :laugh:

For the childs own protection i took the liberty to forward this on to the proper athorities.  ;)
