It was HIS longest distance ever. Not the overall record. I just read it on the news and I KNEW everyone would be excited about it as I was.

The news accounts I read said "NOT" his longest ever. His longest was 231, this attempt 224. The world record he broke was trucks. Previously 19, now 24.

Here's what I got from AP. It's those damn biased news stories again. LOL Either way The Kaptain rocks man!

Daredevil Robbie 'Kaptain' Knievel jumps over 24 delivery trucks, his longest gap ever of 200 feet, at Kings Island amusement park, Saturday, May 24, 2008 in Mason, Ohio. Thirty-three years agao, on Oct. 25, 1975, Robbie's father, Evel Knievel made history when he successfully jumped 14 buses at Kings Island. A crowd of more than 40,000 people witnessed the jump

Evil was not done tossing in the grave from his wife, helping commentary with Travis Pastrana for the step up event at the Navy Moto world championship. Madison showed up also, the worlds farthest jumper, 322' 7".

Its farther then that now. There was a guy in california named jason byrd went around 360. Then Robbie madison broke that with 370 something. Keeps getting crazier.

I think they categorized Byrds jump different because his dirt landing was going down a hill and he landed lower then the lip of the jump so it was step down.
