Has anyone run across a particular combination(brand) of socket and torque wrench that will properly fit the cylinder base nuts on a 2000 Kawasaki KX500? I'm getting tired of grinding down sockets.Thanks.

snap on makes a tool, its about 4" long, it has a box end like a wrench, then the other end has a 3/8" square drive for your torque wrench, i just bnought 1 for my kx 250 works great

A couple distributors have adapters that go onto the torque but you must account for the increased lenght of the wrench. Snap On has them if you want to spend fortune but you could try Sears. However, this is only an assumption that the Snap on tool is more expensive. How much is it? It may not be that expensive to go with the SnapON name. Normally, the crapsmen brand is ok for this type of work. Napa auto parts may have something...

40 isn't bad. Probably wouldn't get the crapsmen for much less...
