Kawasaki shock question

I am in need for a new rear shock or shock rebuild on my 98 KX125, my question is, will a shock from a 94 KX125 work on my 98? thanks for the help

It should work. I have a 93 & a 97 and they look identical. Measure eye 2 eye and make sure. However a rebuild is pretty simple and only costs about 35 dollars 2 do urself.
