Any thing I should look out for on a 95. I would hate to buy a 10 year old bike and end up having to rebuild the entire thing.
This one has plastic guards over the sides at the bottom of the frame. They look like a factory part. Are they, does that mean this thing probaby hasn't been used a lot and would be a good bet?
i just bought my 89 kdx, and last time i was on it, it ran better than by buddies 98 KX250, it starts first/second kick everytime. i dont beilive its ever been rebuilt, just regular good matinence..kdx is a good bike!
The reason the 1989 200 runs better than all the rest of the years is it uses a ligher piston than all the other years. The 1989=13001-1295 were the 1990 thru 2005=13001-1317
I took a risk and bought a 95'. I got impatient and didn't want to risk not being able to pick up a kdx for $1,300.
I won't have time to pick it up and completely check it out until this weekend. Hopefully I get spend more time riding it than working on it... Either way it will be fun!
