I'm very interested in buying a kdx 200 due to the good things I've heard. The majority of my time is spent trail riding so thats what has sparked my interest in the kdx. I currently have a kx 250 and have owned a xr 250. I've never had the opportunity to ride a kdx 200 or ride with one, so I was wondering where a kdx 200 fits between the kx 250 and xr 250. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Mike

It's closer to the KX than an XR. I always describe the KDX as a 2-stroke that thinks it's a 4-stroke. It has great power on top yet it likes to “crawl” just like a 4-stroke. Coming from a KX you will be disappointed in the suspension. With a little investment the KDX is a great woods bike. This forum has all of the information you’ll ever need for KDX modifications.
