I read in just kdx tech tips - stage 3 carb. mods. a company called RB Designs does the trick for great low end performance. Anybody have the phone number or web address. Also, my bike came with a FMF gold series Fat Boy pipe. Is this a good pipe for low end grunt. Note, I'm 240 cc with LA sleeve

Fat Boy? :) Maybe a Fatty? By FmF's description, the fatty was an 'all round' pipe that improved power 'across the entire band'.

It wouldn't seem too likely that a 240 sleeved 220 would need a whole lot of help on the bottom end. If you're still running the stock 33mm carb that comes on later 220s, the bore to 36mm that is part of the RB mod will be a big wakeup!!

BTW..try the 'search' function on this board. There has been MANY threads concerning the RB mod.

It's a 96 200 not a 220 so I think it already has the bigger carb. I rode a 97 220 and it seemed to have more low end, this one hits hard mid to high but dosn't have the real down low put-put which is real handy.
