KDX200 & FMF pipe....hhhmmmm,,,,

:bang: Hi, just got a KDX 200 91 model, and bought a Fatty FMF pipe for it(89-94), the only one FMF make they say, but my stock exhaust bolts on and the FMF is spring mounted....They and the bike shops say there is no flange or nothing i can get to fix it....is this a know problem ??

What is going on, anyone experienced this ???
There must be a sleeve or something i can buy to make it work ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just wondering if the SR model (Japanese domestic model) is different from the 'R' and the two have a different zorst mounting, there should be guys here who will know for sure.

Don't wish to tell you how to suck eggs but the SR will have a metal fuel tank, oil injection, rear footpegs indicators etc.

hi, i have the kdx 250 sr, my exhaust has a flange that bolts to the clylinder with 2 nuts, and from there my fmf pipe slides into this flange and is held on by 2 springs, hope this helps. :cool:
