Can you mod a 220 to have the top end power of a 125 MX bike without losing the low end power? I put on an FMF Rev pipe and carbon fiber reeds and removed the airbox lid and put in a better spark plug. Next I'm sending my carb and head to RB Designs to get the head milled and carb bored. Will that get it close to 125 MX top end???

if you want a 125 get a 125 simple as that... the 220 will never be like a 125. they have completely different engines

The best mod for top end power on a 220 is fredette porting but it still won't rev like a 125

the port locations on a 220 cylinder are too low. You could take a 200 cylinder and bore it out to a 220, and re-chrome.. etc... But you have to give a little bottom end to get top end
EG has a 225 kit.

Thanks for the replies all!!! I guess I was figuring since the 220 has almost double the displacement of a 125, you should be able to at least match the top end power and still have extra low end.
