Has anyone installed the Kibblewhite stainless valves on their CRF 450. I read an article that claimed they increased relaibility by quite a bit. Any experiences out there? What did the complete kit cost including labor to have them installed?

Thanks

I've installed probably 40 of the CRF450 kits from Kibblewhite and it's by far the best fix out there for the valve recession problems. A good valve job and the Kibblwhote kit will give you a nice stable valvetrain that will last. Depending on who you talk the Kibblewhite kit (valves, springs and titanium retainers) a complete valve job, installation and setup of the kit should run in the neighborhood of $500. It should be about $100 or so less if you don't need a valve job, but it's usually a bad idea to put it together without touching up the seats.

I have had those in my bike for about a year now and have not had a second of trouble with them. They are prett pricey, but worth it if you are going through valves every 3 months like I was.

I just recently installed a set of kibblewhite's valves in my KLX, I guess this doesn't necessarily apply to the honda question but they are a great set of valves.
