Um, new to riding dirt bikes but not new to working on them.( My cousin seems to need to rebuild every year or 2.) :coocoo: Anyway, just trying this whole dirt bike stuff out, I used to ride what you call here kwads, :whoa: but have decided to switch to 2 wheels. I'm mostly Yamaha, that's all I've ever dealt with, but have some knowledge of Kawasakis. Thanks to all in advance for correcting me if I'm wrong, contrary to popular belief where I come from I do not know everything. I've been trying to get a decent used bike, anyone have suggestions as to what a beginner might try that's used?

top end rebuilds every year is not uncommon at all. Hopefully you rebuild them before they fail, it is a lot cheaper that way!

As for the type of bike for you, go to the "What bike do I get" forum and fill out the "sticky" you will find at the top. With that information we can make a reasonable recommendation for you.
