My KIPS center shaft #13107-1324 is showing some wear on the teeth on the outboard gear. Can I rotate the shaft 180 degrees to pick up fresh teeth and still maintain proper valve placement?

Isn't there an issue then with main valve (and parts) attachment? Also the detent spring/ball on the LH side? Well.....if you still use that piece. A lot of guys take it out.

I have done it and it works fine.. Jeff Fredette also gives it the thumbs up. He's who I got the idea from.

Everything went bach together just fine. Runs good. Another way to get a few more miles from a existing part with no problems. Its good to here that Jeff does this also. Thanks for the reply.
