I am curious about the Marzocchi forks that dedicate one tube to compression and the other tube to rebound. I assume this isn't ideal since it didn't stick around very long. Any ideas on the advantages and disadvantages of this set up? Also being new to all this I am curious about the quality/durability of the Marzochhi product.

These forks are on a 96 KTM 250 SX that I am riding for a while.

I had them, there are the best on hard pack, they fly over brake bumps and you will never bottom out.I did not like them in sand and you will have to change the oil ever week .Be real careful not to over tighten.
