What the Heck. Let me say this
250EXXC is simular to 300EXC
1.Get 18mm offset tripple clamps. Will help with quickness and tighter turning radius
2. Learn to ride. Thats what I am doing. If you really lean bike over it will turn on a dime
3. Lowering forks in tripple clamp (This means they stick higher up from the top of clamps and the length of forks is shorter). Move 5mm at a time. I suggest only 5mm
4. A stiffer rear spring. Get the one for your weight. Soft spring will sag too much and you will be driving a Harley. Get race sag around 100mm
Bottom Line. As you ride more it gets easier. You learn to make it work. Practice, Practice and Practice. I started to lean my bike way over but I keep body upright. Like skiing. Sometimes I lean with bike, not often though.
I love Dunlop 756 for sand, rocks, hard pack, pavement, everything.
Good Luck
