Kx 80 compression damping adjustment

I have a 2000 kx 80 and i need the front fork stiffer and i was going to adjust the compression damping but it said to remove the caps on the bottom of the fork tubes i dont know what the are talking about and i dont have a picture so could someone tell me what it is or if you have a picture send it to [email protected] thanks

and is it the hexagon shaped thing on the bottom of the fork and how would i take it off
