KX Fork Conversion

I have a nice set of 1998 KX 125 forks and I have a not so nice set of 2001 KX 125 forks. (they are kind of beat up) Are the 2001's much better then the 1998's? Whatis the differnece in the forks?

Beyond the 01s being 48mm vs the 46mm 98s , internals are a updated and different.

2002 was the first year for 48mm inner tubes.

1999 had an aluminum damper rod instead of steel.

Both will be valved for MX and could use a revalve if intended for trail use.

Your right. TechCare has them as 48, but Ractech has them as 46.
