KX Water in Swingarm

I just got a new leftover '04 KX125. I tore it apart for a good greasing and noticed the swingarm had about a quart of water in it! I took off the plastic plugs on the side of the swingarm and it just gushed out. This is my first Kawie, from what I recall my YZ's always had a small weep hole at the back of the swingarm for water to drain out.

Questions:
1. Anybody else had water in the swingarm of a brand new bike?!

2. Any harm in drilling my own weep hole? I don't like the idea of tons of water sitting in the swingarm. But I also don't like the idea of drilling on the swingarm.

Was the water kind of green like antifreeze? I've seen it before and it seems to be a factory thing they tried. Drain it out and put antisieze on the threads. It will be fine.

A friend with an 88 KX250 had a crack in his swingarm that either originated at the corner of the chain block reliefs or a hole drilled in the swing arm. It went to both. But, just be careful because randomly drilled holes can initiat cracks.
