Lark Canyon/Mc Cain Valley for you socal'ers

from what I understand Corral Canyon is closed, I heard a rumor it may be until December sometime (or until it rains, which may be allot longer) untill it reopens, but in the mean time Tree suggested a nice place that is not much farther from san Diego and it's open!. Lark Canyon off of hwy 8 and Mc Cain Valley rd http://www.offroadrider.com/wher/scal/lark.html is a good place for an afternoon of riding, it's restricted to motorcycle and quad riding, no vehicles over 40" inches wide, most of the trails are tight with lots of burms, there are also some mountain goat type trails for you rock climber types, and there are camping spots for over night stays. on some of the trails the views over looking the desert are awesome.
