Texas may be getting it next year. I’ve heard from 2 different reliable sources that the owner of Broome-Tioga has sold the rights for the National to someone in Texas. They still plan on holding amateur races, the NE Classic, Loretta Lynn qualifiers, etc. As I get more info I’ll post it. Has anyone else heard anything?

I'd hate to see it go since the track is only 40 minutes from my house :(

Cycle Ranch sounds like it could be a contender.

I'm hearing lots of rumors about excatly what "sold the rights to the national" actualy means. I'll ask around while I'm at Unadilla this weekend.

For the last couple years I've heard an ongoing rumor that Lake Whitney was trying to get back on the circuit. Not sure when or why Lake Whitney got dropped but with the MX popularity here in Texas it's hard to believe we have to drive over 1,000 miles to see a National!

From what I've heard this is not a done deal yet. The owner is still thinking it over. It also sounds like he may have the right to get the race back after some period of time.
