- press release -

Morgantown, WV - MX Sports and Racer Productions, along with Gear Media and Marketing Inc. (GMMI), announce a broadcast first. This August, the 2005 Air Nautiques AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships and the ATVA Dirt Days ATV National Championship from Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN, will air on the Outdoor Life Network. This is an unprecedented level of amateur motocross and ATV motocross racing coverage on television.

“We’re so excited to bring the excitement of the AMA amateur nationals and the ATVA motocross nationals to television sets around the country,” says MX Sports Director Tim Cotter. “Everyone who has heard about the vaunted Loretta Lynn’s Ranch experience will see why we call these events the World’s Greatest Motocross Vacations. And they’ll also get a look at some of the finest racing talent from today and tomorrow.”

The Air Nautiques AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships take place the week of August 1st through the 6th and will air just two weeks later on August 20th. Davey Coombs, Jason Weigandt and Rodney Tomblin will host the show, and these colorful talents will bring a new look and feel to motocross on television. The show will contain extensive racing highlights, featuring future professional stars like Jason Lawrence, Ryan Villopoto and Nicco Izzi. The shows will also highlight evening activities and special guests.
