Leaded or unleaded

Ok guys here's one for you---What's the advantages/disadvantages of using leaded gas over unleaded. I need to use straight up race gas in my 2-stroke bike due to some mods and usually grab whatever is in stock. Any thoughts?

For the average racer there is no advantage to running leaded or unleaded fuel as long as you pick the correct fuel for the application.
