Leaky base again

I think my cylinder may be warped since I cannot keep base gaskets from leaking. This last one i coated with yama bond in hopes of holding it in to no avail. Stock gaskets, 02 yz250.

Can a good machine shop turn the base down on a lathe?
Is this a common problem?
How do most people fix this????

if you turn the base down, you are likely to need to head mod also. it will also give it more low end with a trade of top. that said, cometic makes gaskets in 6 thicknesses so you can get around it that way. if i were you, i would send it to eric!
