Live DW feed this year????

I've got a bullet cam that can be used as a webcam, and the software. Who's got the network connection, and the coax :)

I'll see if I can work something out with Brownie to use his phone line to upload some pics each day.

I'll have my laptop if that could help in any way. I bought the damn Verizon wireless connect to cell phone internet thing last year but was never able to figure out how to use it :(

Another option is the Yahoo Groups. You can post pics or videos, up to 20 meg or so to a group that you can form. I have 3 vids posted there now, you can check out the quality and accessability. If you have a Yahoo ID, join the group 'heartland_spodes' and check it out.
I'll make a group tonight and post some vids from last years DW. I'll post the name of the group here, when I get it done.

I posted 3 vids I made last year...

Since VioletSP lives in Stillwater, and has a broadband conn., it would be easy for her to upload daily stuff and not worry about access.

I have Sat... pointing without the equipment is a little difficult, lol. Not to mention against federal law (licenced installers HAVE to install and point any Sat connection that transmits).

You can hook up my phone to a laptop via an accessory USB cable and voila, instant 235 megs/sec internet connection. I'll see about buying one of the cables off of ebay since sprint doesn't sell them anymore, but they are pricey, around $100 if I remember correctly.

I'm camping all week but got a hotel room for the shower and a roof if the weather turns bad. I'm taking my digital camera and laptop so I'll try to put up a few pics for all those that will be setting at home(or even worse....work :scream: ). I missed my first DW last year and It is not much fun reading the posts and looking at the pics when you can't go but I'll try to help you masochists out :)
