I believe this is due to my float valve leaking in my carb, just want to see what you guys think. This is on an 87 RM250. It drips some gas here & there if the petcock is open, so I know the float valve is in bad shape anyway.
When I go down pretty steep stuff for more than about 20', it starts sounding like it's missing. By the end of the downhill and for a few seconds afterward, it will do one of two things: sputter and try to die unless I wring the throttle, or start revving to about midrange on its own.
Think this is float valve related, or something else?
Thanks.
