Two Robbie Horton stories:
1. When he was a young kid in the schoolboy class I lined up next to him for a race in Society Hill, SC where they were running the +25 with his class. He had already walked off and won 3 (or 5) motos that day, so I leaned over and told him, "Follow me...I'll show you the fast way around the track!" In a very polite manner, he smiled as he said, "Thank you, sir." I think he might have even waved as he lapped me that race.

2. At the finish line at Sandhills, Chesterfield, SC they put up signs showning 25, 50, 75, and 100 feet after the finish line jump. It was a single with nothing but a flat landing afterwards. That day most of the C class was landing around 25, the rest of the A and B classes were 50-75 feet. Robbie still had it laid out sideways and fully crossed up as he went by the 100 ft mark.

that is very true. any true gunsman knows where his fire arm is at all times. if you dont then you have a problem. as for it getting in the suitcase it kind of makes me wonder how it ended up in there in the first place. i mean if he was bringing it to arizona or wherever to do some shooting thats fine but why not just put it int he bag thats going under the plane instead of the carry one one. i mean during this time it would only be smart to do things just as you are told and not try to challenge the law. very stupid mistake!

When I worked at the Pitt Airport I once saw the security people pull a hand grenade out of a flight attendant's bags. This was some time ago and for the life of me I don't remember if she was even detained. It didn't even create any disturbance. I'm sure it was hollowed out but you would think she would know better.
