Check if some of your spokes are loose and tighten them. This can get pretty long and frustrating if you don't check them after each ride.

If the rim wobbles side ot side, it's spokes. If the rim and hub wobble, it's bearings. If it wobbles in and out, it's the head set. I see headsets come loose a lot, they usually just need to be tightened but it's a good idea pull it apart and repack the bearings.

Don't ride on bad bearings, the bearing will eventually disintegrate and you will destroy the hub. We just went through this on a friends bike and we had to buy a new hub and lace him a new wheel. It's a lot of work and much more expensive than changing bearings.

No special tools. Long screw driver. Hammer. Right size socket to use when re-installing. Becareful when installing the seals, you want them to go in straight

when tapping the bearings in PLEASE only put pressure on the outer race of the bearing. If you hit the center of the bearing you WILL destroy the new bearing.
