lower a xr50?

i s there a good way to lower a 2003 xr50? id like to lower it 2-3 inches so my kid can touch the ground. he rides a bicycle real good. so id like to get the training wheels off the 50.

Yamaha makes a kit it's call PW50.

if there any thing like on a bicycle just bend the training wheels up so they dont touch while hes upright and leave it until he can touch the ground
