First let me say that my wife is so green and slow she will notice no ill effects from any of this, so thats not an issue.
I backed the rear spring off and lowered the rear end a bit via sag. Can I slide the forks up the triple clamps about 3/4" to lower the front? Would this hurt anything? Thanks.

Yes you can.  Make sure you aren't sliding the forks into an area with a different diameter.  On one of my bikes, if you slide them up too far the fork tube is smaller at that point.  Probably not an issue in your case.

If possible change the shock linkage ration I do not know it they sell a lowering link for the 150 but it could be fabed up fairly easily. jus do not go to far with the forks so they hit the handle bars and of course make sure the fork diameters are the same at the point they will be clamped as the top were they were originally clamped
