Lowering KDX with longer" DOG BONES" ?
Does anyone know how much longer the DogBones need to be for lowering a KDX? I saw that a company called KOUBA is making 3 different sized links for lowering different amounts(apox.1"-1 1/2" and 2")I could make my own links at work if I new how much longer they need to be for the different lowering amounts. This is the 2nd time I've posted this question,"Surely somebody knows"?

and he will tell you how long his links are. I did but don't remember. I think to get an inch at the seat you need 5 MM longer rod. Stock is 112.5 so you need a 117.5 rod to get about an inch lower at the seat. Remember this changes the ratios and your spring will react like a softer spring too so if you weigh close to 200 LBS your spring will end up being too soft.

I suggest your try a combination of links and seat trimming. You can get DEVOL links that are adjustable and go to 114 MM which gets you about 1/2 inch at the seat, lower your fork tubes 1/2 inch and then cut 1-1/2 inches of seat foam out of your seat and you lower by 2 inches.
