From the text of their review of the MX Rider video game.

In real life, if you used the front brake in a turn you'd crash

This could well be the longest thread in DRN history.

It just reinforced the notion I have that Timmy and the MXA Boob Brigade should stick to fender sticker shootouts. :)

If this thread EVER slows down I can assure you I can keep it running for a good long time with that stupid article alone. :p

Maybe they should stick to writing articles about the gas Patman produced from that beer Papakeith gave him.

There are basically four major factors in motocross: riders, bikes, tracks and organizations.

I have to give Hinz (Jody) credit, though, for the editorial on the need for a concussion policy, but it just goes downhill from there.

Don't use your front brake in a turn? Hurm . . . :think

TIP SIX: SOFT DIRT SPELLS SOFT TIRES

ARRGG all these years I have been doing it wrong!! When the soft loam comes out I break out the hard terrain tires:silly:

OR

Don’t do smoky burn-outs on concrete starting pads. It doesn’t do squat.

This explains the weird looks I get, thanks for the clear-up MXA:)

How bleak will it get? If the government drops MTBE (a good thing) and adds ethanol (a bad thing) motocrossers will pay—twice: at the pump and at rebuild time.

Rich? Is this true:o

if you consistently have trouble sleeping, you need to find out why.
Ohhh these guys are good:D

And my finale
Bikes need three things to run: fuel, spark and air. If you discover that you have all three, then your bike should run. If it doesn’t, sell the bike and buy a mountain bike. It only needs air…in the tires

Ahhh maybe our good buddy's at MXA should take there own advice:)
I think there tests of water bottle holders would be great!!

MXA Bash

This thread just reinforces the notion I have that YOU guys that spend countless hours on DRN talking about NOTHING are the real "Boob Brigade."

Let me know when you publish your own magazine full of your "wealth of knowledge." I'm sure it would be a real treat.

In the meantime, us REAL RIDERS will be out roosting while you guys live in your own little fantasy world from your keyboards and monitors here on DRN.

Best regards, and see you at the races.

Did someone tie your thong too tight? It looks to me like you are talking on DRN right now...so, I guess that makes you a member of our "boob brigade".:)

As for my "fantasy world", come on down here to GA, and lets see how you can do in a nice, sloppy Enduro or Hare Scramble. At least you won't be riding around in a little circle for an "exhausting" twenty minutes, then proclaiming how hard you rode.

You and about a million others each month are reading it NOW genius. If that's not enough you can pick up back issues of MotoTech . We put more useful info in one issue of that publication than a years worth of drivel from High Torque. Like your beloved MXA editors, you clearly should do more research before you speak.

Now what size butt-hat would you like?:p

Rich? Is this true

Of course not. Ethanol is a really poor fuel additive but that's a performance issue not a reliability problem. Although they are correct that use of ethanol will raise the price of fuel especially on the west coast. As for MTBE, it's the best thing that has happened to fuel since Midgely discovered how to use TEL. Removing it from the general fuel supply will just force more people to have to run race gas to keep engines from knocking and to retain any sembelance of throttle response.

If MXFastGuy really does have a 2002 KTM 520 (which we all know he doesn't), I'd put money down that he bought the special offset triple clamps that MXA always talks about. Here's one thing I don't understand, if he is a MXA fan, why isn't he riding a Yamaha?
