Amazing that he got 3rd running the whole track in 2nd. Even more amazing was that he was jumping triples in 1st while he was trying to get it into 2nd!

Really speaks to the usable rpm range of a factory 450.


Dungey not pulling out of the race, and instead trying to shift by hand while 20'+ in the air, clearing a big triple in first... :yikes: That's an instant classic.

I have a lot of time on Orange machines and 2 bent shifters is a bit hard to believe.

A loose shifter bolt on a KTM will cause grief that other bike riders have never seen. The lever "reindexes" itself.

But watching Dungey shifting by hand and staying near the top was unbelievable.
