MTR Winter Reunion

I know some of you are planning to ride all winter and may not see the need for a reunion. In the past some of us have met for dinner, one year we went to the Arenacross in GR and another year we went to dinner at the BOB before going to the Arenacross. Other ideas???
I am thinking early January...after the holidays, the winter (non-riding) blues will have set in, and Sgt. Johansen should be settling into family life back in Michigan.
I am open to suggestions and I realize that one event is not going to fit into everyone's calendar Let's hear your ideas.

Mike - Brian mentions getting together, so why not combine it into one nice time as a welcome home. To me it is what Brian wants, Brian gets.

hmm isnt the snow chicken ride around then or am i thinking of the end of feb. you could combine that ride with the reuinion although will us newbi's to mtr beable to attend. it will be the first time alot of us have met. i know i met a large amount of you guys at the SOW ride this past spring, but i havent rode with many of you since.

OK, I'll put a plug in for Grand Rapids area, possibly The BOB again. FYI, arenacross is at the VanAndel 1/26/27 and 2/27, if you were thinking maybe of linking the two.

If that sounds good, I'd be happy to help out any way I can. I can put up some for the night as well.

Zuki the snow chicken isn't till Mid March. I think they are thinking something a little closer to January.

The arenacross / bob could work for me.

DId you check with MotoMarie BEFORE you posted that Mark?? I noticed she was wearing her "Woodsy For President" pin at Chaos and I wouldnt want to lose a vote because of showing up for a Slumber Party and finding out she knew nothing about it :nener:

Who said I was going to put you up in the HOUSE? The barn, next to my KTM and other toys, may be more in line. :laugh: :moon: KX lime green will clash with KTM orange, Yamaha blue and Honda red. There's been a yellow bike in my barn once, but it mysteriously fell over and bent up the bars (seriously). I can't imagine what the moto-ghosts would do to something green!

Kidding aside, if someone needs a place, no problem. Bring some good moto DVD's and we can watch 'em on my projection screen!

Just no green jammies......puleeze!

Amen to that brother. Its been almost a week since I rode last and I am already climbing the walls. :bang:

Thought I'd bump this up. I don't think we came to a conclusion.

Another idea. There is the Motorcycle Show in Novi the first week of January. I'm going this year. Maybe meeting there or for lunch/dinner would be appropriate. Any takers?
