For a 90 Kdx 200 I assume I can use a Kx 500 rear fender but what front number plate fits best??

Not sure the KX 500 fender will fit. I just redid my 96 KDX 200. All new plastic (radiator, side plates, rear fender to MX style, and front number plate), seat cover, graphics, front disc cover. Looks just like a KX 250. All that to say - I had to get plastic (rear fender) that was specific to the KDX. The KX 500 rear fender might not fit the mold of the air box and frame. denniskirk.com has the enduro to MX style rear fenders for around $40.

Well I know the fender works put it on Saturday # plate will be in tues or wenesday

there is a bike on ebay that's done up to look like a kx,, for anyone that wants to see a good shot of a 03 kdx with fender and plate...

UFO has a mx rear fender for 95-current modles. Not sure if anyone
makes one for earlier models.

I did this swap on my old '94. The 93-98 KX250 rear fender looks LOTS better, but requires some cutting. It took me about 45 minutes to get it just right with my dremel, but it looks killer and the hacked up areas are hidden well. The front number plate is 99-2002 KX 125-250. Mine had inverted forks, so the number plate may be different for yours. Click my "Gallery" icons or my avatar for pics.
