I have a 03 KDX220. I am putting a KX125 # plate on and all is good but what do i do with the trip meter. The plate won't fit unless it's moved or raised. Anyone did one yet and if so what did ya do?

Thanks

If you use the Acerbis 96 to 00 kx125 # plate
( part no# 257-2132-06), remove the odometer and save till later, after you mount the plate, re-install the odometer the same way it came off, you will have to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the plate about 4 inches right below the odometer and put the cable thru the hole. If you use numbers on the front they will hide the cable.

The front brake line brackets will have to be removed and not used with this plate unless you want to fabricate a new bracket. Just cut the plastic rings off.

Save the odometer it's the only way to know how much gas you've used (or have left) by the miles ridden. In the desert this is a must. Towing is not an option.

I have the 03 KDX 200. I used the Acerbis KX 125 front #plate. Same as above.
